The Custer County GOP Assembly was held on March 20th.  At that time, delegates and alternates to the State Assembly were elected.

Also, the candidates for the Custer County primary on the Republican ticket were selected:

Clerk and Recorder: Kelley Camper
Treasurer: Virginia Trujillo
Assessor: J.D. Henrich
Sheriff: Shannon Byerly
Surveyor: Christopher “Kit” Shy

Coroner:  Brad Baltzly and Art Nordyke

On Saturday, April 15th, the Colorado State Republican Assembly was held in Boulder.

Delegates from all 64 counties voted on candidates for CU Regent (at-large), Attorney General, Secretary of State, Treasurer, Governor, and resolutions.

CU Regent Candidate Ken Montera, Attorney General Candidate George Brauchler, and Secretary of State Candidate Wayne Williams were all elected by acclamation. Treasurer Candidate Justin Everett took 49% and joined Polly Lawrence (petitioning) and Brian Watson (petitioning) on the primary ballot in June. Gubernatorial candidates Walker Stapleton and Greg Lopez will join Doug Robinson (petitioning) and Victor Mitchell (petitioning) on the June primary ballot. There were 17 resolutions proposed to the Assembly, all of them passed.
